Proud Indangeño shares passion for music in The Pop Stage

Dia Mate, an Indangeño at heart, showcases her passion and talent in the online talent show The Pop Stage!

The Pop Stage, hosted by Matteo Guidicelli, is an online talent program by Popeyes. It intends to celebrate Filipino talent and individuality even at trying times.

“I am hoping that we can bring joy and hope to everyone who are affected by the calamity that we’re all in now,” Unido Capital Inc.’s CFO Francis Reyes said in a digital press conference.

The 18-year old musician is the grandchild of former Cavite governor and now congressman, Cong. Jesus Crispin “Boying” Remulla.

“I think I deserve to win because music has really been a big part of my life and it is my greatest passion,” she said.

Dia has been playing piano since she was little and also took singing lessons. With a hungry heart for new learnings, she taught herself how to play guitar and ukulele among others.

“I feel like The Pop Stage can help me take my passion to the next level,” she continued.

The winner of The Pop Stage will receive a grand Prize Php 1,000,000 and a one-year contract with Viva Artists Agency.
