As per reports, Maynilad will be spending P743 million for the pumping stations and reservoirs (PSRs) that will boost water pressure for some 87,000 customers, and connect a million customers to the network.
The new facilities, targeted to be completed by the last quarter of 2019, will be constructed in Valenzuela and Muntinlupa cities and will have a combined water storage with capacity of 75 million liters.
The PSRs are expected to increase water pressure from the current 7 pounds per square inch (psi) to 16 psi for households in Barangays Maysan and Gen. T. de Leon in Valenzuela City, and Imus in Cavite.
According to its President and CEO Ramoncito Fernandez, Maynilad keeps investing in the infrastructure enhancements needed in order to connect to new customers and boost their service levels for existing ones.
Concurrently , those in Imus and Bacoor in Cavite shall start operations this year.
