Caviteños and Caviteñas, gear yourselves up as we bring you the country’s biggest and first ever mural event showcasing prides and talents! Aiming to alleviate street art notoriety and promote local tourism with street art as an alternative tool, Kulay Cavite Mural Festival 2017 is set to come to life in Kawit, Cavite from April 22 to April 29.
Invited in the 8 – day event are established street artists and muralists to paint Cavite’s historic identities in public walls within Bacoor City, Noveleta, Kawit, Cavite City, Rosario, Trece Martires, Imus, Tanza, Dasmariñas City and General Trias. Tribute of devotion to birthland and fellow Caviteños is said to be the reason behind this mural festival.
Tanya Jizelle Pastor and Christian Ray Cresencio founded this mural festival in tribute of devotion to their birthland and fellow Caviteños and Caviteñas.
This provincial – wide event, supported by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), is in partnership with the Provincial Government of Cavite, Cavite Tourism Office, Bosny , Boysen Paints Philippines, and the Municipal of Kawit, Cavite Kawit Tourism and in collaboration with GOCavite.com, Cavite Active Photogroup(CAP), Grafeine Studios and ASEAN.
