The office of Cavite 4th District Representative Jenny Austria-Barzaga has partnered with the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) in giving free technical vocational (TechVoc) training on beauty care, electronic products assembly, dressmaking, and hairdressing to qualified city residents.
The free technical vocational training, which comes with free tools and allowances, is accessible to all citizens and registered voters of this city, between 18 to 25 years old, who have finished high school (old curriculum or Grade 12).
Aside from the educational support, the city residents may also soon receive free dental services at the Pagamutan ng Dasmariñas (PND) with the opening of its dental clinic here.
Per advisory received Thursday, the dental clinic, which was formally blessed and inaugurated early this month, will offer consultation and dental extraction with anesthesia and postoperative medication for tooth extraction, all for free.
Furnished with 3 dental chairs, patients will be administered on a first-come-first-served basis, with preference given to senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWDs), pregnant women and children.
The dental clinic, located on the ground floor of PND, is arranged to open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This first class component city, known for its “Paru-Paro” Festival, is one of the most vigorous cities in the Province of Cavite in terms of assistance for its constituents.
Its other aid programs include birthday cash gifts to PWDs, city scholarship program, job fairs, including free crematorium services, among others.
