Residents of Brgy. Pinagtipunan in General Trias united to carry an extensive clean-up drive in their community recently. Village Chief Joel Prudente, with members of the barangay and volunteers, cleaned up the community from the side of Brgy. Prinza up to Brgy. Tapia.
Truckloads of litter were gathered as the volunteers also cleared the barangay roads, eskinita and canals of the village as the country commemorate Environment Awareness Month and Filipino Values Month this November.
“Nawa’y patuloy tayong makiisa sa mga gawaing pangkalikasan sa ating barangay upang mapag-i-ngatan at mapahalagahan ang ating kinabukasan,” Cong. Luis ‘Jon Jon’ Ferrer IV said in an interview.
Brgy. Pinagtipunan also abides by Republic Act 9482 or the Anti-Rabies Act of 2007. They also strictly implemented the “Aso Mo, Itali Mo” drive.
The said community also implemented the videoke regulation act. Households can use videoke from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. only.
Non-residential areas can operate only from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. Residents can use their videoke on weekends and special holidays up to 12 midnight.
