BACOOR, CAVITE- Under executive order No. 30 of Bacoor LGU, a month-long lockdown in Zapote Proper 1 is finally lifted, effective July 31.
From critical zone last June 30, it’s now categorized as Containment Zone.
Bacoor City Task Force COVID-19 recommended the municipality to transition the area into Modified Enhanced Community Quarantine, excluding only those houses that are considered direct contact of the last nine confirmed cases.
Meanwhile, General Community Quarantine shall be observed in its surrounding barangays including Barangays Zapote II, III, and IV, which are categorized as Buffer Zone.
As of July 29, E.O. 30 stated that out of 30 confirmed cases in the area, 14 patients have already recovered, 3 have died and 13 are still in active cases
Currently, Zapote 1 is one of the five areas in Bacoor with the highest numbers of infection, equal with Molino 6, and following that of Molino 2 (40 confirmed cases), Molino 4 (66 cases), and Molino 3 (highest, with 100 confirmed cases).
Thus, the need to apply the zoning containment strategy.
