In the year 2022, a new business district will rise within Megaworld Corporation’s 140-hectare township in General Trias, Cavite. The real estate firm anticipates a total projected sales of PHP 9-billion for the commercial lots.
Named as Maple Grove Commercial District, the 35-hectare commercial property opens 363 prime lots for sale for businesses.
“Within the district, we are creating subdistricts that [would] lead to a six-lane main avenue,” said Rachelle Peñaflorida, the company’s vice president for sales and marketing. “The entire development will be surrounded by green and leisure parks and the streets, composed of secondary and service roads, will be interconnected in a way that everything becomes accessible wherever you come from.”
The commercial district will have seven green and open parks across the development, including a ‘Central Park’ that will serve as a ‘green jewel’ of the commercial district.
The commercial lots being offered for sale vary from 360 to 1,008 square meters. The turnover of lots to owners will begin after the business district’s scheduled completion in 2022. Within the five years from the respective turnover, the lot owners are expected to finish construction of buildings.
Last year, Megaworld announced that it was allocating P10-billion to build the 140-hectare Maple Grove township in 10 years. Aside from the commercial district, the township will also have residential and recreational villages, school, mall and other mixed-use developments.
