It means healing. A well-thought of Tagalog word which a group of local independent Cavite artists brainstormed about in the hopes of achieving a movement that would lead to bringing the concept of diverse healing. Not only in medical terms, this one has a touch of the beauty of art and it starts here, in Cavite.
Lunas; Sining sa Hardin
The event is happening this September 2-3, 2017 in a family-owned garden (130 Bayanan, Bacoor, Cavite) This is an art for a cause with the purpose of gathering to sustain funds and help out a child’s cancer treatment. In this event, there are activities such as an art exhibition by ten young artists, painting workshops, mural making, live acoustic music to soothe, a bazaar/fair of “latag” crafters and good local food.
With only an affordable entrance fee of P100 (regular) and P50 (student), no need to travel far from city to city for anyone to dive into their own creative immersions. This group wants to bring the art hype in Caviteños’ neighborhood. Plus, it gives the good feeling of being a part of community where one is able to donate, help save a life only by participating in an event where all proceeds will be directly shared to one kid fighting off cancer from the Cancer Warriors Foundation.
Art, music, cause. Sounds interesting? Check out their Facebook page for more information. See you there!
