Cavite Number Coding Scheme: Roads less congested

The year 2018 marked the beginning of the Number Coding Scheme through the Provincial Ordinance No. 64. The ordinance regulates the operation of private vehicles within the territorial jurisdiction of the province through the Unified Vehicular Reduction System (UVRS).

The number coding will be determined on the last digit of license plates or conduction stickers, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. from Monday to Friday.

There will be “window hours” set from 10:01 a.m. to 2:59 p.m.

The roads covered by the number coding system are the following:

– Aguinaldo Highway (the stretch from Bacoor to Dasmariñas-Silang boundary)
– Governor’s Drive (from Carmona to Trece Martires City-Tanza boundary)
– Molino-Salawag-Paliparan Road (from Zapote, Bacoor, to Paliparan, Dasmarinas)
– Molino Boulevard (from Aguinaldo Highway to Molino-Salawag-Paliparan Road

Anyone who does not abide by the aforementioned ordinance shall be penalized. See the details of penalties here.
